Advocacy Initiatives

Total Ban:
Work diligently with local, state and national athletic organizations at all levels of competition, as well as with state and federal lawmakers, to achieve an enforceable total ban on the use of steroids, and other performance enhancing drugs, in all sports.

Stiffer Penalties:
Work diligently with local, state and national athletic organizations at all levels of competition, as well as with state and federal lawmakers to stiffen the penalties for abuse of steroids or other performance enhancing drugs. Stop the endless "one more chance" policy.

Hamper Distribution:
Urge local, state and national law enforcement agencies, as well as state and federal lawmakers, to treat illegal steroids with the same gravity as other illegal drugs. Strongly urge and support expending resources to stem the flow of steroids into our schools and gyms.

Mandatory Testing:
Work diligently with local, state and national athletic organizations at all levels of competition, as well as with state and federal lawmakers, to institute a program requiring mandatory, random, no-notice testing of athletes at all levels of competition, in all sports.
