Live Presentations:
Presentations, approved by the Foundation, stressing the prevalence and dangers of steroid abuse. These presentations will be delivered by speakers selected and trained by the Foundation to specifically reach a particular target audience. Presentations will be delivered to parents, teachers, coaches, trainers, athletic directors, school boards, school nurses, and principals, as well as students.
Video Presentations:
Professionally produced videotape presentations, targeted to a specific audience, to communicate the Foundation's message when a live presentation is not feasible.
Web Site:
An attractive, user friendly Web site that provides examples of actual tragedies caused by steroid abuse, information about steroid abuse and resources for dealing with the problem. The Webmaster will ensure the site remains accurate and relevant.
Radio/TV Ads:
Professionally produced public service ads that deliver the Foundation's message on a regular basis. Additionally, the Foundation will obtain reputable sponsors for these ads.
Workshops:
Deliver workshops using actual case studies to train teachers, coaches, parents, school administrators, etc. on how to recognize and deal with steroid abuse.
Media Liaison:
Maintain effective liaison with print, radio and TV media to keep the topic of steroid abuse in the public's awareness.
Information Packets:
Informational materials distributed to parents and students as part of school orientation, sports sign-ups, parental permission packages, etc. These packets will include, as a minimum, the signs of steroid abuse, the dangers of steroid abuse, and the Foundation's Web site address.
